Unique

Today I started thinking about what makes us unique. We’re billions of human beings in this world and there are not two people exactly the same. I started thinking about the interests and desires and goals that we have in life that make us unique. We are a unique manifestation of that energy. Even when we share activities with other people, we are all living them from ourselves, so it’s never the same manifestation.

It’s so crazy for me to think about that need or the feeling that we have sometimes of doing something, I mean.. why do I feel that I want to make art and not be a doctor? Where does that come from? Is it our soul? Is it our body? Does anybody know with certainty why we are all different?

I think that if you feel the need to do something, if you have a deep desire within you, then that comes from your soul, your essence, and that energy needs to be manifested in this world. It found you and needs to be manifested through you. It doesn’t matter how good or bad you are at something, it’s not about that. – Life is not a competition, and we’re going to end up in the same in the same place anyway – So if you feel the need to do it, just do it! – as long as you don’t hurt anybody, of course – It’s your wish, your goal, your interest, that is unique and takes shape in you and only you. That energy needs to be in this world and it’s your own responsibility to manifest it.

Some people say that ideas are flying in another dimension and we get to channel them, and that if we don’t manifest them, then someone else will. I think this is at some point true, we get to connect with the dimension of ideas. But where I differ is that you are not going to bring that idea to life the same way that I will, or anybody else. Each one of us has their own unique way of doing things, there is no right or wrong way. And I actually think that having so many different creations or manifestations of the same ideas is so beautiful! That is what makes our world beautiful, not being a repetition of the same thing. We are not machines, and when we channel an idea we do it through ourselves, and that imprint of humanity is what makes this world unique. Not only with art, also in the way we talk, the way we dress, the way we walk, the way we live.

Hoy empecé a pensar sobre eso que nos hace ser únicos. Somos billones de seres humanos en este mundo y no hay dos personas exactamente iguales. Empecé a pensar sobre los intereses, y deseos, y objetivos que tenemos en la vida que nos hacen únicos. Somos una única manifestación de esa energía. Incluso cuando compartimos actividades con otres, las vivimos desde nosotres mismes, entonces nunca es la misma manifestación. Es re loco para mí pensar sobre la necesidad o el deseo que tenemos a veces de hacer algo, quiero decir.. por qué yo siento que quiero hacer arte y no ser médica? De dónde viene eso? Es nuestra alma? Es nuestro cuerpo? Alguien sabe con certeza por qué todos somos diferentes?

Creo que si sentís la necesidad de hacer algo, si tenés un deseo profundo, eso viene de tu alma, tu esencia, y esa energía necesita ser manifestada en este mundo. Te encontró a vos y necesita ser manifestada a través tuyo. No importa qué tan bueno o malo seas en algo, no se trata de eso. – La vida no es una competencia, y todos vamos a terminar en el mismo lugar de todas formas – Entonces si sentís la necesidad de hacer algo, hacelo! – mientras no lastimes a nadie, por supuesto – Es tu propio deseo, tu objetivo, tu interés, lo que es único y solamente toma forma a través tuyo. Esa energía necesita ser parte de este mundo y es tu propia responsabilidad manifestarla.

Hay gente que dice que las ideas están volando en otra dimensión y que nosotres las canalizamos, y que si no las manifestamos, alguien más lo va a hacer. Yo creo que esto es cierto en un punto, que podemos conectar con la dimensión de las ideas. Pero donde no concuerdo es que vos no vas a traer esa idea al mundo de la misma forma que lo voy a hacer yo, o que cualquier otra persona. Cada une de nosotres tenemos nuestra forma única de hacer las cosas, no hay forma correcta o incorrecta. Y creo que tener tantas diferentes creaciones o manifestaciones de las mismas ideas es tan hermoso! Eso es lo que hace tan hermoso a nuestro mundo, no la repetición de las mismas cosas. No somos máquinas, y cuando canalizamos una idea lo hacemos a través nuestro, y esa impresión de humanidad es lo que hace que este mundo sea tan único. No solamente con el arte, también en la forma en que hablamos, la forma en que nos vestimos, la forma en que caminamos, la forma en que vivimos.
