This is a set of oil paintings that combine the real world with the ocean. These paintings are based on buildings I found travelling the world and caught my attention.
It makes me think about the cities and how disconnected we are from everything else when we’re in a concrete jungle. How far we’re from what’s happening in the ocean, even when we go to the beach. We share the same planet and yet we have no idea what’s going on down there.
I think these paintings are an invitation to think about a dream world where everything is free, where sea creatures dance on our skies, among us, where we don’t forget that there’s still life in places even when we don’t see them. Just let your imagination fly.
